These terms apply to Red Light Home Guide (redlighthomeguide.com), operated by Site Wise Software ("we", "us"). By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
What the site is
Red Light Home Guide publishes free, general guides to at-home red light therapy devices (pads, belts, panels and hats) and links to brands that sell them. It does not sell devices and is not a medical service.
Provided as-is
The site, the tools and the content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Content is general information and may be out of date: prices, models and specifications change. We don't guarantee that the site will be error-free or always available.
Nothing here is medical advice. Check with your doctor and the device maker's instructions before you use any device. See our disclaimer. The Disclaimer forms part of these terms.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Site Wise Software and its owners, contractors and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of money, data, profits or opportunity, arising from your use of the site, its content, or any product you buy from another site. Where liability can't be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to CAD $100.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights under consumer protection laws that apply to you.
Your use of the site
Please don't misuse the site: no attempts to break, overload or scrape it, and no use that breaks the law. You may share links to our pages.
Content and trademarks
The site design, text and code belong to Site Wise Software or its licensors. Other brand and product names belong to their owners and appear only to describe or cite them. Mentioning a brand doesn't mean it endorses us.
Links to other sites
Some links go to other websites, including affiliate partners. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, products, safety, shipping, returns or policies. Any purchase is between you and the seller.
If you sign up for email, you can unsubscribe anytime. Marketing email is optional and only sent if you tick "Also send me occasional tips from Site Wise Software. (Optional, unsubscribe anytime.)" See our privacy policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we make a material change, especially to how we use your email address or if the site changes owner, we'll post a notice on the site and email subscribers before the change takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. You and we agree that the courts of British Columbia, sitting in Victoria or Vancouver, have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about these terms or the site, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
Transfer of the site
We may transfer or assign these terms, and our rights and obligations under them, to anyone who acquires the site or its business, without your consent. We'll post a notice on the site (and email subscribers) when this happens. You may not transfer your rights under these terms.
